MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
National emergency number: 112
Need to speak to someone anonymously? Our lines are open every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday all night until 3 a.m. The goal of our commitment is to offer easily accessible and discreet assistance to people in distress. Telephone interviews or e-mail exchanges are perceived as simple and easy by most people: no need to make an appointment, or travel to get help. In addition, there is no need to appear in public.
The Kanner-Jugendtelefon (children and young persons’ helpline) can be used by anyone, over the internet or by telephone:
boy or girl
young or not so young
child or parent
friend or neighbour
to ask a simple question
in a crisis situation ...
... where children’s or adolescents’ problems are involved, we will find someone who is open and available to write or talk to the person concerned.
